Kanezakuhara Wilderness Forest Walk & Mangrove CanoeingThe Kanasakubaru Primeval Forest, a national park on Amami Oshima Island, a World Natural Heritage site, is a "forest of subtropical plants, the lizard-hen forest. In the forest, you can also encounter valuable plants and creatures of Amami.
On the mangrove tour, you will canoe through a mysterious space that is part river, part ocean, and part forest. You can enjoy forest bathing while at the same time being in the ocean.

But my friend invited me to go to "Sperm Whale Swim". We thought it was too good to spend only two days swimming with sperm whales, so we stayed an extra night and looked for a tour that would allow us to enjoy Amami. It was a weekday in September and we were the only two guests. Our guide was Mr. Kizuki, who used to be a marine guide as well. I enjoyed the Kinsaku Primeval Forest so much that I wanted to stay there for a whole day. Here, you can take a good picture by imitating the guide's way of taking pictures. I thought I heard birds singing, but it was the sound of cicadas or the path of the Amami rabbit, and I heard that Amami is just like a combination of the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. Since it was just my husband and I at Torishin for lunch, we ordered one dish each from the menu above. The chicken rice was very tasty, but we preferred the "Chicken thigh fillet set meal". When I told my friend later that we went to "Torishin," she told me it was a popular restaurant. Canoeing after lunch.
