Yuriga-hama and the sea turtle snorkeling were absolutely amazing!! The ocean was unbelievably beautiful, and when we came ashore on that magical sandy beach, I let out a huge scream!!! I got to swim with real sea turtles at Minata Beach, too—I was on a total high the whole time!!! You can rent all the gear for free, so if you want to fully experience Yoron Island’s great outdoors, you absolutely have to join this tour!!! ★

My husband and I went on a package tour during our vacation. We took this tour for our child’s first snorkeling experience. After being amazed by the beautiful sandy beach at Yuriga-hama, we headed to Minata Beach, where the staff gently took our child by the hand and guided them to where the sea turtles were. I was worried whether our child would be able to enjoy the ocean without being scared, but the moment they spotted the sea turtles, they were overjoyed, and it became a truly precious, treasured moment for our family.

I wasn’t very confident in my physical stamina and had been worried the whole time about whether I’d be able to keep up with multiple activities in a row, but thanks to the guide, who adjusted the pace and led us gently, my worries vanished immediately. First, we boarded a boat and headed to Yuriga-hama, known as the “phantom beach.” Next, we went ashore and enjoyed the contrast between the crystal-clear ocean stretching as far as the eye could see and the white sand (phew). After that, we moved on to Minata Beach, where we had a great time snorkeling in the ocean, searching for sea turtles.
