The course included a baby carriage ride through the mountains at night on Amami Oshima Island. I was really looking forward to the night tour. From the very first ride in the wild jeep, I could not stop being excited. Thank you for a fun time. My son said he had a great time and he is still talking about his memories when he gets home. Below is a report written by my son. The night tour was so much fun! The car didn't have a ceiling and I couldn't stop being excited! I would like to see the Amami Owl, though! The guide's explanations were really interesting and there were lots of bugs and other fun things to see! If I come back, I will definitely join the tour again!

It was early in the day, but we were able to see 10 Amami rabbit owls! It was exciting to stand on the uncovered 4WD and drive through the mountains at night. Since we had a small child, it was a relief to be able to observe the animals from the car. The animals are nocturnal, so it is not advisable to get too close to them, but the guide was very good at guiding us, and the children enjoyed seeing them up close. Thank you very much for your help! We enjoyed the tour very much thanks to our guide who has been living in the area for a long time. Good points We saw 6 or 7 Amami rabbit. We saw many Amami endemic species other than rabbits. Detailed explanations by the guide (ecology of the creatures, corrections, how to find them, information on endangered species protection, etc.) I liked the tour because there was a good balance between entertaining the guests and respecting manners and rules to minimize the impact on the creatures. (I want to enjoy the tour, but I don't want to cause undue stress to the creatures!) I thought the detailed explanations, which only a guide from Amami could provide, were especially wonderful. Even if we had not found rabbits, I think I would have enjoyed it! I don't usually write reviews, but I was so happy to have had such a wonderful experience that I decided to write one.
