The tranquility of the primeval forest and the birdsong simply cleansed my soul... As I walked through the crisp early-morning air, gazing up at the towering Hikagehego trees, it felt as though the hustle and bustle of daily life was slowly melting away into the depths of the forest… Soothed by the aroma of freshly brewed coffee enjoyed amidst nature, I was able to spend a truly peaceful and happy time… It’s a memory of the most wonderful morning…

Although I was traveling alone, the guide was very friendly and chatted with me, so I was able to enjoy the trek without feeling lonely. Walking through the crisp, early-morning air while gazing at the massive plants of the Kinzakuhara Primeval Forest became a cherished memory of a luxurious solo trip where I was completely immersed in nature. The freshly brewed coffee I enjoyed along the way was also delicious.

Since we were leaving early in the morning, I was worried about whether I’d be able to wake up on time and whether I’d have the stamina to hike through the virgin forest, but thanks to the guide, who adjusted the pace and walked slowly with us, I felt at ease right away. The crisp morning air was incredibly refreshing, and the freshly brewed coffee we drank in the forest was truly exceptional. I’m so glad I took the plunge and got up early to join this tour.

As a tour that takes you through the Kinzakuhara Primeval Forest early in the morning, I think it offers great value for the money since you can fully enjoy the crisp air and peaceful forest. The freshly brewed coffee was also a welcome treat for my chilled body. However, the terrain in the forest was uneven and there were some slippery spots, so it would have been perfect if they had provided more detailed advance notice about the need for hiking shoes. Overall, I’m satisfied.

First, a shuttle picked us up early in the morning, and we headed to the Kinzakuhara Primeval Forest, which was shrouded in silence. Next, we set out on a walk through the still-dimly lit forest, observing rare plants and animals while listening to our guide’s explanations (phew). Just as we were getting tired from walking, we were served a cup of hot, freshly brewed coffee right there in nature, and the aroma and taste allowed us to deeply relax. It was a truly fulfilling morning.
