We participated in the canoeing and trekking with our guide, Tasuku, and even though we were all beginners at canoeing, we were able to paddle right away because of his easy-to-understand and well-tuned instruction. They wrapped a raincoat around our lower body to prevent us from getting wet during the canoeing, which was a precaution against water dripping from the oars, but I couldn't find any other tour companies that took care of that, so I was "impressed! and I was already gripped from the beginning. Tasuku's guide told us many memorable stories about the area that remain in our minds even today, such as "When I was little, my grandfather taught me this" and "There used to be a sugar factory nearby, and children whose parents worked there would play in this forest while they smelled the brown sugar, and the moment the smell stopped, everyone left and that was the signal to leave the factory. These local stories, which are not found in any books or anywhere else, are vividly etched in my memory. I am truly grateful to the local people for reminding me of the culture and spirit of believing in the "unseen" that we city people have lost. There are still many places to see in Amami Oshima, so I hope to have another chance to visit and ask Tasuku to guide me again.

530代Month of posting: 2023/11最高の時間を過ごすことができて大感謝です。ネイチャーガイドやツアーはミシュランのようなガイドがあるわけでもなく、場所によっても異なるけれど、奄美大島で自然を満喫したいとかアウトドアアクティビティを堪能したいというなら、次回もきっと頼むだろうと思います。 予定を入れずその場で決めたがる俺は前日も値段は半分くらいのツアーガイド会社に予約を入れて開始場所まで行ったけど、暗い雰囲気でなおかつあいさつすらできないのにバン満載の客を連れて運転手兼ガイドをする男性を見て、これは参加してはいけないやつだと思ったからその場でキャンセルした。その決断は間違いではなかったとこちらのツアーで深く安堵のため息をついた。何が良いってガイドさんのクオリティが非常に高い！生まれた時からつりが好きなガイドさんは若いけれどすごく勉強熱心な上、性格がいいから俺を含め3人の客が質問をすると、まず誉める。いいこと聞いてくれましたね、とても良い質問ですね、と言ってワンクッション置いた上で、造詣の深い回答なりコメントをしてくれる。こちらはもとより旅先でふと思った子供同様な質問ゆえ、質問の体を成していない場合もあるが、なぜそういう質問をしたのか、何か興味があるんだなと補足して情報を提供してくれる。 ご一緒した親子の方ともマングローブをカヌー体験初めてだけどまたやりたいですと楽しんでいたので、やっぱり自然を学習するというより自然とのinteractをうまく場所を提供してくれるガイドの方が学びが大きいなと感じた。一生の思い出になるからいいガイドさんとの出会いは本当に大事だと思いました
