西古見 三連立神とは

西古見三連立神は、大島郡瀬戸内町古仁屋船津にあり、三つに連なる小島が沖に鎮座する場所。しまの守り神でもあります。

夕陽が静かに三連立神に降りて幻想的な景色を創ります。時がゆっくりと刻まれ、夕陽の名所です。高台になっている観測所から見る大パノラマが見事で奄美の自然の空気と青と白い雲や山の深みのある緑、そして美しい海の独特のカラーのすべてが新鮮です。

ここはとても風情のあるエリアで、手製の長いすや石垣に立てかけたハブ棒、ガジュマルの木々が囲む家屋、港の小舟など奄美らしさを堪能できます。

どこから見ても海がきれいで、海に沈んでいく夕焼けをいつまでも眺めていたくなる、奄美を代表する素敵なビューポイントです。
