Q. Is there a place to change clothes after the tour?

You will remove salt from your body with hot or cold water (depending on the season) and change your clothes in a simple tent for one person. Please note that you will change your clothes on site, and will be transferred and disbanded in a towel-dry condition.

I received thorough instruction on the basics of skin diving, including how to hold my breath and dive deep. The beauty of the underwater world, known as “Amami Blue,” is truly exceptional, and swimming alongside the fish in the sunlit waters was a wonderful experience. It was my first time skin diving, but I felt less anxious because of the explanations given on land and underwater (even at different depths). The dive instructors were always attentive to our needs, which made us feel safe and secure. The sea was a little muddy due to the wind, but this is just nature, and we had a great time seeing turtles and sharks.

I’d say it offers good value for the money. It’s great that you get free photos and videos. The water off the northern coast of Amami Oshima is crystal clear, and even beginners can fully enjoy skin diving there. However, if I had to mention one thing, I’d say that people who are prone to seasickness should bring motion sickness medication. I’m satisfied with the overall arrangements and the guide’s support.

The ocean in Amami was seriously amazing lol. Even as a beginner, I could dive so deep just with a snorkel—I was totally hyped! I was able to swim with sea turtles. It is not easy to record what happens when you are diving, but they took a video and sent it to me early in the evening of the day I joined the tour. I was very happy with the wonderful video that showed the beauty of the sea. I thought the guide was very kind and full of enthusiasm to let us fully experience nature through the activity.
