I liked that the local guide gave us a thorough tour with explanations, rather than just "sightseeing a few places and that's it. Since it was a private tour, I could go around at my own pace and take lots of pictures.

一人旅で運転できないため、こちらのツアーに参加しました。ドライバー（ガイドさん）は奄美の歴史や植物のことを要所要所で説明してくださり、大変勉強になりました。景色のよいところへ案内してほしいという要望には、奄美自然観察の森（遊歩道が整備されており、とりでから見える景色がすばらしい）加世間峠（右手に太平洋、左手に東シナ海を同時に見渡せる）へ連れていってくださいました。また、浜千鳥館ではいろんな黒糖焼酎が試飲できて、ジェラートよりもお酒が好きな私にはうれしかったです。また利用したいと思います。

I applied for this tour because it was my first time to visit Amami Oshima and also because I was traveling alone. The guide was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. He took me to the recommended spots, especially to Materia Falls, which I had requested. On the way, he stopped by to eat soft ice cream, told us if deigo flowers were in bloom, and told us when he heard the sound of akashobin. I heard that the animals in Amami are nocturnal, so I hope to participate in the night tour next time. Thank you very much.

I was impressed even before joining the tour that they were able to accommodate our sudden schedule change. We thought we would be lucky if we saw one or two Amami rabbit, but we saw many more than we expected! In addition to the rabbits, we also encountered a rare African pygmy gopher tortoise. My friend and I joined this tour. It was a half-day tour, but we were able to see a lot of beautiful scenery as we went around the northern part of Amami! I am a solo traveler and a paper driver, so it was a great help! I was able to visit the places I wanted to go efficiently and at a reasonable price, and the local guide was able to take me to places that were cut off by Google Maps without any difficulty. It was also very helpful that we could specify the pick-up point to be near our hotel in Naze City and the drop-off point to be at the hotel where we were staying next.
