No matter where I took pictures, the crystal-clear ocean was beautiful, and the video of me swimming with sea turtles turned out so stylish—I’m totally satisfied! Since we had the place all to ourselves, I didn’t have to worry about other people getting in the shot, and the photos the guide took had great angles, so I came away with lots of cute memories. The only thing was, the wind was a little chilly when we got out of the water, but the hot shower was a lifesaver♪ It was an amazing, Instagram-worthy experience—I definitely recommend it!

The facilities were great. We were able to enjoy a private sea turtle snorkeling tour, and the place was very functional, with hot showers and towels provided. It was also nice to receive the photos as a gift. There were a few waves, but overall I was satisfied.

The private sea turtle snorkeling tour was seriously amazing lol. The guide spotted the sea turtles right away, and I was so hyped! We got to go at our own pace, and we even got a free video of us swimming with the sea turtles—it was absolutely amazing (lol). The warm shower after the tour was a lifesaver, too. If you want to fully enjoy the waters of Amami, this is a must-do!

I participated in a private sea turtle snorkeling tour on Amami Oshima. Since the tour is limited to one group, we were able to enjoy the ocean at our own pace while receiving detailed explanations from the guide. As expected given the high encounter rate, we were successfully guided to a spot where sea turtles were present, which was truly moving. They also provided hot showers and towels, and I’m very satisfied with the high-quality photos we received.

First, we received a thorough briefing from the staff, then headed out into the ocean, which we had all to ourselves. Next, we swam leisurely through the crystal-clear waters, following our guide’s instructions as we searched for sea turtles (phew). I signed up because I was drawn to the fact that it was a private tour. It was great to be able to take my time observing the underwater world without having to worry about other people’s pace. Since it was a completely private tour, we didn’t have to worry about other guests, and the staff kindly guided us to where the sea turtles were, adjusting the pace to our child’s comfort level. I’m not much of a swimmer, and I was a little nervous about going out into deep water, but the instructor kept a close eye on me the whole time, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself. Since we had the place all to ourselves, I was able to get used to the ocean without feeling rushed, and when a sea turtle swam right past me, I was overcome with emotion. I was also happy to be able to take a warm shower right after getting out of the water.

Since you can enjoy a private sea turtle snorkeling tour, and they offer free photos and videos as well as towel rentals, I think it’s a great value. The guide’s instructions were clear and smooth. However, the changing area felt a bit cramped, so if they had provided more detailed instructions on how to prepare beforehand, it would have been perfect. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.
