The tour will take place in the second largest mangrove forest in Japan in Sumiyo-cho, Amami-Oshima.

9:30	Arrive at snorkel point After registering at ➡︎, change into your swimsuit/wetsuit in your car or in a simple tent. Put on your life jacket, grab your snorkel and fins, and you are ready to go!
10:10	Practice in shallow water after the lecture ➡︎ We will do some preparatory exercises while getting accustomed to the water.First-timers should practice while dipping their face in the water.
11:10	End of snorkeling
	change of clothes ➡︎Depending on where the event is held, town showers and changing rooms may be available (*We may have to drive around in our wetsuits). If the event is held in a location without shower facilities, we will provide water tanks and simple tents.
11:30	Transportation & Lunch ➡︎ Once you are dressed, we will move to the mangroves.On the way, let's stop at a store and have lunch. We will also introduce some recommended restaurants that serve "Chicken Rice" and other traditional Amami foods! Lunch is not included in the tour fee.

Cancellation of the event

Basically, the event will be held even if it rains, but may be cancelled if danger is anticipated.

If we have no choice but to cancel the tour on the day of the tour, we will notify you as soon as the decision is made.Please note that some courses may be changed on the day of the tour depending on weather and other conditions.

Precautions for participation in the course

We will provide life jackets and buoyant boards so that even non-swimmers can have fun, but we recommend that small children who are not used to the water practice in the bathtub so that they can put their faces in the water before the day of the tour.

There is a separate insurance fee of 200 yen. Please pay it at the site.

■For full-day tours, due to the risk of missing the flight, reservations cannot be made for those who will be flying home on the same day.

Guests staying in the area south of Nase will drive to Sumiyo-cho Mangrove.

The meeting place may change depending on where the guests are staying or where the tour is held. In the event of a change, the representative will be notified as soon as it is determined.

We were two parents and two children traveling together. We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel, which was very helpful for us as we are not able to drive. I am grateful for the long hours they spent with my son, who was a bit of a selfish brat. The mangrove canoeing was for two people, but it was harder to paddle than we expected, so the guide pulled us along. The chicken rice for lunch was so delicious that I am thinking of ordering some more! I joined this tour with my mother and son. Thanks to Yuki's truly excellent guiding, we were able to make the best memories on this tour that we were looking forward to the most. My mother, who was snorkeling for the first time, really enjoyed the tour because of Yuki's great care and attention to detail. This tour, which I joined with other people, was truly the highlight of my time on Amami Oshima! The snorkeling experience was great, not to mention the encounter with sea turtles and swimming in the coral reef sea with colorful fish. I participated in the 1-day course of sea turtle snorkeling & mangrove canoeing in Amami Oshima. I had high expectations when I heard that the encounter rate with sea turtles was 991 TP3T, but words cannot express the excitement I felt when I actually swam with beautiful sea turtles! The canoeing experience was also a valuable experience in nature. The shower and changing rooms were fully equipped and we were able to spend the whole day in comfort. I joined this tour with my family. We went canoeing in the morning and sea turtle snorkeling in the afternoon. 65 years old couple could fully enjoy the nature of Amami Oshima. Especially the lady who guided us was fun and attentive! It further improved our impression of Tswah. Thank you very much for a pleasant time.

We saw sea turtles in the morning canoeing and afternoon snorkeling. The guides were polite and great. The guide was very attentive and the women told us to feel free to tell her if our wetsuits and fins didn't fit. It was perfect for us greedy people who wanted to enjoy both in one day!
