Cancellation of the event

*Please note that the tour may be cancelled at the captain's discretion if it is deemed unsafe due to weather or sea conditions on the day of the tour.

*If the event is cancelled, you will be notified at least one day prior to the date of participation.
In case of unpredictable weather conditions, the tour may be rescheduled at the last minute on the day of the tour. We ask for your understanding that this is our decision to ensure the safety of the tour.

I took part in a boat snorkeling tour at an uninhabited beach on Amami Oshima. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for beginners, so I felt completely at ease going into the water. In the crystal-clear waters, I was able to observe colorful tropical fish and sea turtles up close—it was a truly wonderful experience. The photos I received were of excellent quality and made for a great keepsake for my family.

The guide was very experienced and kind, and this was the most satisfying snorkeling tour I’ve ever been on, both in Japan and abroad. It had been a while since I’d gone snorkeling, but the safety briefing was thorough, and he took us to two different spots. Especially at the second spot along the beach, he took us to see Nemo, sea urchins, colorful fish, and coral reefs—it really made me realize that seeing these sights from a professional boat makes all the difference. You’ll need to let them know in advance if you need prescription goggles. (Since it was a private tour with just one other person this time, I asked right before departure, and they were very accommodating!) The boat was barely rocky at all this time, and even though it was right after breakfast, I didn’t get seasick at all. I highly recommend this tour.

Since we traveled by boat to an uninhabited beach, I was able to experience a sense of escape from the ordinary right from the start of the trip. I used this shop during my last visit to Amami, and since they were so kind, I decided to go back this time for snorkeling at a secluded beach. As always, the guide’s instructions were thorough, and their skill in ensuring we’d see sea turtles—almost every time—is truly impressive. I was also soothed by the beauty of the secluded, uninhabited beach, and this is a wonderful shop that never fails to live up to my expectations, no matter how many times I go.

Snorkeling at that deserted beach was seriously so much fun lol. The ride to the spot on the boat was super exciting, and once I got in the water, the visibility was insane—I spotted fish and sea turtles right away, which totally got me hyped! Though I forgot to put on sunscreen, so my back is stinging now (lol). Plus, they give you the photo files, so Taipa is the best.

Snorkeling at an uninhabited beach was absolutely amazing!! I got to swim with tons of colorful fish—I was on a total high the whole time—and when I spotted a sea turtle, I let out a huge scream!!! The boat ride to the uninhabited beach is so exciting, and you even get the photo files, so you should definitely go!!!

It had been a while since I’d been in the ocean, so I was a little nervous about snorkeling from a boat, but the guide was kind enough to adjust the pace to my needs, so I was able to relax and enjoy myself. The moment I saw the beautiful ocean at the deserted beach and the sea turtle swimming gracefully right in front of me, all my fatigue vanished. They also took some beautiful photos for me, and I’m so glad I took the plunge and joined the tour.

I went on a boat snorkeling trip with my kids. Since it was an uninhabited beach, we didn’t have to worry about other groups, and the kids seemed to really let loose and enjoy themselves. The staff were kind and supportive, and we even got to see the sea turtles we’d been hoping to see—the kids’ eyes were sparkling with excitement. I think it offers good value for the price, especially with the snorkeling at a deserted beach and the included photo data. The water was incredibly clear, and I even got to see a sea turtle. However, since there are few places to get out of the sun, it would have been perfect if they had emphasized the importance of sun protection—such as wearing a hat—even more in their pre-trip announcement. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience.

The water was beautiful, and I even got to see sea turtles. However, the deck was a bit slippery when getting on and off the boat, so it would have been perfect if there had been more thorough advance warnings about that. Overall, I’m satisfied.

I’m not much of a swimmer, so I was worried about whether I’d be able to keep up during the snorkeling trip by boat, but thanks to the guide’s kind support, my worries vanished right away. The water at the deserted beach was absolutely beautiful, and I was moved to see sea turtles swimming up close. However, the boat’s rocking made me feel a little seasick, so it would have been better if I’d had some motion sickness medication.
