あまみユースホステルとは

あまみユースホステルは名瀬にある宿泊施設でいわゆるオババ、年配の女店主と息子さんの二人で切り盛りしているユースホステルIt is.

二人で切り盛りされているのでこじんまりとした宿泊施設になり収容人数は9人となっています。 アクセスは大和線のバスセンターから知名瀬バス停車場で降りれば目の前で楽なのでお薦めです。所要時間は25分程度です。

市内バスを使った場合は「里」行きに乗れば終点で降りることになりますので身体を休めることができます。

そこからは送迎車で5分で到着します。 食事は奄美の郷土料理の鶏飯が出てくる場合が多く奄美大島らしい雰囲気を手軽に堪能できます。

79号沿いですので繁華街、海浜公園などへの移動も比較的便利ですが、駐車場が2台しかないので確認は必須です。
