見る限り一面のソテツ・バショウの群生、山まるごとのソテツの群生を見れば否応なしにそう感じてしまうはずです。

群生は圧巻なのですが、ソテツ・バショウのグリーンと山吹色、そして紺碧の海と空の二種類の青さ、雲と白波の白、山の高台から見る色のコントラストはまた絶景かつ必見です。 また東シナ海に太陽が沈む夕暮れ時にはまたガラッと違った表情を見せてくれます。

アクセスに関しては奄美空港から車で20分ほどで龍郷町役場に着くことができます。 そこから安木屋場エリアまでは10分程度で到着できるはずです。
