打田原ビーチは、奄美市笠利町喜瀬にあり、名瀬市街から車で45分、国道58号線から「崎原海岸」の案内に沿って走り、その途中に打田原ビーチを見つけることができます。

奄美空港からは15分ほどのドライブ。笠利湾沿いの穏やかな青い海が特徴で、珊瑚が打ち上げる白い砂浜が魅力のビーチです。シャワー、トイレが完備され、駐車場は少なめ。

打田原の集落には、手作りの塩工房があります。透明度の高いビーチで上から見ると手前は水色、遠くになると青い色になり白砂とのバランスが絶妙It is.
