Every day, plastic trash from all over the world washes ashore on the beautiful beaches of Amami Oshima. In this plan, you will participate in an early morning beach cleanup with a local guide and experience the environmental challenges facing Amami and "the desire of the people to protect the island.

We will start the beach cleanup immediately after gathering! All tools, including gloves and garbage bags, are included, and a mini-lecture on litter will be given. After the cleanup, you can enjoy a cup of cold tea or a sports drink while listening to the guide's explanation of theLunch spots known only to localsand hidden photo spot information.

After the tour is dismissed, participants are completely free to do as they please!

*From November to March, the tour will be held three times a week (may be cancelled during cold weather and wave warnings).

*The meeting and venue will be at Tehiro Beach, but may change depending on the amount of trash on the day of the event.

*We recommend that you arrive at Amami Oshima by the night before the tour, as the meeting will be held early in the morning.

*Please note that participation in the program without enough sleep increases the risk of heat stroke and other health problems.

*Shells, rocks, and sharp objects may fall on the beach. Please be sure to wear sandals or other footwear. Barefoot participation is at your own risk.

*In the event of an approaching typhoon, wave warning, or heavy rain forecast, we will notify you of the cancellation by 20:00 the day before. No cancellation fee will be charged in such cases.
