True to its claim of a high sighting rate, we were able to see the Amami black rabbit, so I feel the tour was very well-organized. The certified guide’s explanations were spot-on, and I gained a deep understanding of Amami’s nocturnal ecosystem. The free round-trip transportation also makes it great value for the money. However, given the nature of the tour—searching for nocturnal animals—it would have been even better if we’d been reminded in advance to keep things quiet for a bit.

First, we drove from the meeting point and headed into the dark forest. Next, we used our flashlights to search for wildlife and were able to observe the Amami black rabbit—which I’d long wanted to see—up close. The certified guide’s explanations were easy to understand, and I thoroughly enjoyed this mystical nighttime exploration.

I finally got to see the Amami Black Rabbit, which I’d been dreaming of for so long! It’s no wonder the encounter rate is 95% or higher. Thanks to the certified guide’s expert guidance, I was able to enjoy the mystical night in Amami to my heart’s content.

It was a full moon and the stars were very beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. He was very quick to spot wildlife and we saw many black-crowned night herons. We saw many other creatures as well. It was the right decision to join this tour. Thank you for a great time.
