Both the mangrove canoeing and the waterfall hike were seriously such an adventure—I had so much fun lol. The guide was really fun to be around, and it turned into an amazing memory. Taipa is just the best!

Although I was the only participant—a man of a certain age—the guide chatted with me warmly throughout the trip, so I was able to fully enjoy the great outdoors without feeling left out. Whether it was the mangrove canoeing or the waterfall hike, I was simply soothed by the natural beauty of Amami… I am truly grateful for the warm hospitality.

This is a well-organized tour that lets you experience both mangrove canoeing and forest trekking in one go. The scenery was just as wonderful as shown in the brochure, but there were quite a few bugs that day, so it would have been even better if they’d mentioned insect repellent beforehand. I think it’s a tour that’s worth the price.

This tour let us enjoy both a mangrove canoe ride and a waterfall hike. We were able to fully appreciate the beauty of nature, but since the itinerary was a bit physically demanding, it would have been perfect if there had been more frequent breaks. Overall, I’m satisfied.

It was our first trip to Amami, and we were blessed with great weather. The guide answered all our questions accurately, and even though it was a short trip, it was a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. It was our first time canoeing as a couple. Since we don’t get much exercise normally, we got pretty tired toward the end, but my husband—who was in his 60s and canoeing for the first time—said he really enjoyed it.

Every angle was picture-perfect, so I couldn’t stop taking photos☆ The mysterious atmosphere of the mangroves and the waterfall deep in the forest were both absolutely beautiful! I was so happy that our guide knew all the best photo spots and took so many great shots from wonderful angles♪ I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to fully enjoy the great outdoors!

I took part in this tour while on vacation with my wife. Paddling the canoe in perfect sync with her was a wonderful memory! As we walked through the forest, our guide taught us about various plants, giving us a sense of fulfillment that you just can’t get from ordinary sightseeing. We also really appreciated how thoughtful our guide was—he took lots of photos of the two of us. It was the best trip ever.

Since I was traveling alone, I was a little nervous at first, but the guide was very friendly and chatted with me, so we hit it off right away. I was able to take photos at my own pace and breathe in the fresh air of the great outdoors to my heart’s content—it was a truly immersive experience that only solo travel can offer. The guide’s in-depth knowledge of the forest ecosystem really sets this tour apart from ones that are just about walking. The waterfall scenery was also impressive. However, since your shoes get quite dirty, I think customer satisfaction would be even higher if there were a wider variety of rental shoes available.

Surrounded by nature, I had a wonderful time forgetting the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The mangrove forest was quiet—a truly luxurious setting where the only sound was the gentle lapping of the water as we glided along. I was so excited by all the Instagram-worthy spots! The way the light filtered through the mangrove tunnel was absolutely beautiful, and every photo I took turned out so stylish★ The waterfall we reached on our hike was incredibly impressive, and I ended up taking so many photos that my phone ran out of storage lol. Our guide was also really good at taking photos!

I was worried that the kids might get tired during the hike, but thanks to the staff, who walked alongside them and spoke to them kindly, they were able to enjoy themselves with smiles on their faces until the very end. Since I never exercise at all, I was really worried about whether I’d be able to keep up with the hike, but the guide made sure to take frequent breaks, so it wasn’t a problem at all! In fact, walking while breathing in the fresh air felt so good that the time just flew by. This is a wonderful tour that I’d especially recommend to beginners.

The negative ions from the waterfall felt so good lol. At first, the canoe wouldn't move at all, which made me panic, but once the guide showed me the trick, we glided along smoothly! There were quite a few bugs, though, so bug spray is seriously a must. But overall, it was seriously fun, so it was totally worth it.

Participated by a single woman! I joined this tour because it was relatively inexpensive for one person. I received an e-mail from the tour guide saying that the time I wanted to join the tour was low tide and that I would have more time to enjoy canoeing if I joined the tour in the afternoon because the tide was high. The guide was very kind and explained everything very well and answered our questions immediately! The canoeing was fun even at low tide, and we were able to get out of the canoe and observe plants and fish that can only be seen at low tide. I was lucky to be able to join the tour at low tide. I would like to go with this company again next time.
