Exciting! Night tours with guide commentaryThe tour, led by a veteran guide, will take visitors to see Amami's unique endemic species and rare natural treasures such as the Amami rabbit, the Ishikawa frog, and the Ryukyu konohaku (owl).
Many of these animals are nocturnal, and the chance to see them up close in the wild awaits!
Covered in subtropical virgin forest and separated from the continent, Amami Oshima Island is a treasure trove of wildlife that has evolved in its own unique way due to the warm and rainy climate.

Wild animals designated as special natural treasures or endangered species, such as the Amami rabbit, inhabit Amami Oshima, many of which are nocturnal.
In order to allow you to enjoy exploring in a natural setting, our tour will be conducted in an open jeep 4WD.
Also known as the "Galapagos of the Orient," Amami Oshima Island is famous for its wide variety of flora and fauna.

This is not a tour to see only the Amami rabbit.Please take this opportunity to enjoy the many endemic and rare species that can only be seen on Amami Oshima.
