I attended with my 2 year old, 2 month old and 0 year old. We requested a private party because of the children. We walked, ran, picked up rocks, etc. I was able to have fun with my 2 year old, who is very fast-paced. I am very glad that we requested this tour.

I had come to this tour with my imagination after seeing pictures and reading blogs beforehand, but for the first time in my 70-plus years of life, it was an Amazing Tsar that exceeded my imagination by many levels. I was impressed by the amazing power of nature of the virgin forest and the diversity of plants indigenous to Amami Oshima, which I learned about through the careful explanations of the Amaniko guides. Unfortunately, it was raining, but I was sincerely impressed. I am glad I went.
