    What is Amami Park?

    Amami Park is a 5-minute drive from Amami Airport, and the park is divided into two main areas: Amami no Sato and Tanaka Isson Memorial Museum of Art. At Amami no Sato, visitors can learn about the nature, history, and culture of Amami through large nematic exhibits and a video in the theater. The two facilities charge separately, but visitors can receive a discount with a common ticket.
    Opening hours are 9:00-18:00 (9:00-19:00 in July and August) Admission is until 30 minutes before closing time. Closed on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (or the following day if the day falls on a national holiday) (open April 29-May 5, July 21-August 31, and December 30-January 3).
