諸鈍長浜のデイゴ並木とは

諸鈍長浜のデイゴ並木は、奄美大島の南側の加計呂麻島にあり、集落「諸鈍」にのびる長浜という海岸に沿ってディゴの木が並木をなしています。

樹齢300年から600年のデイゴが80本以上も連なり、瀬戸内町の文化財に指定。映画のロケ地として有名であり、海辺の並木道の下で椅子に腰掛け海を眺めるとゆったりとした気持ちになれます。

風情ある景色が続く中で、毎年5月下旬から6月上旬ごろに真紅の花が咲く季節が見ごろです。

樹齢が300年以上の威厳と迫力、そして趣あるロケーションです。田舎の風景が続き、きれいな海を眺め、穏やかな波は、シュノーケリングにも最適です。夕方に並木道を歩くとロマンチックな気分に浸ることができるでしょう。
