清水海水浴場とは

清水海水浴場は奄美大島の南部にある古仁屋を拠点にして、観光や遊ばれる時のアクティビティとして便利なところでしょう。

海に入ることの可能な夏場は特にお薦めですが、それ以外の時期も大島海峡を挟んで見える加計呂麻島の美しい姿を目前に眺めることが可能です。

海水浴場ですのでシャワーやトイレも完備されていますから安心な場所だと言えます。

ビーチというよりはやはり地元の方が使われる海水浴場という言葉があてはまると言っていいでしょう。なぜなら比較的遠浅の箇所が多いこともあるからです。遊泳を楽しむというよりは水浴しながら遊ぶ方が比較的楽です。

もちろん遠浅の海を抜けて遊泳を楽しむことも可能ですが最初は少し浅くて泳ぎづらい箇所もあると認識しておくといいでしょう。

古仁屋からはバスで10分程度でつきますのでフェリーの欠航で予定がなくなった際にビューポイントとして散策するのもお薦めIt is.
