Indoor Experience

A NAVI search of the phone number showed a location far from the airport, but we found it along the national highway and arrived safely. We enjoyed working with a female designer who came all the way from Canada just for the dyeing experience. The staff's detailed guidance helped us to create two very satisfying T-shirts that will be a keepsake for us as a married couple. Thank you very much!

We borrowed expensive Oshima tsumugi silk, which was quickly and beautifully dressed, and had a photo shoot with our family. It was a memory that will last a lifetime.

It was a wonderful time for me to experience the traditional Amami dyeing technique for myself. The process of the color changing little by little as the fabric was rubbed in was interesting and I became absorbed in the work. The one and only original T-shirt in the world was completed, and it was a very nice souvenir.

I have never had a chance to wear Oshima tsumugi, so this was a valuable experience for me. It was light and comfortable to wear. I was alone, but the staff was happy to take my picture.

When selecting kimonos, we were given explanations about colors and patterns, which was very informative. I was given advice on choosing accessories and was able to wear what I liked. Although I was alone, selfie sticks and tripods were available for rent, and I was able to take many pictures with the staff taking pictures of me. It was a great experience. The staff was very kind and made me feel comfortable.

I wanted to experience the traditions and culture of Amami, so I applied for the dyeing experience. It was a valuable experience that I really enjoyed not only the finished product but also the process of making it! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was a great way to experience the traditions and culture while interacting with the local people. I would like to go back again!
