I highly recommend the sea turtle snorkeling tour on Amami Oshima! The ocean is absolutely beautiful, and you can actually swim right alongside the sea turtles♪ There are shower rooms and changing rooms on-site, so you’ll be comfortable afterward, too. If you’re on the fence, you should definitely give it a try!

Snorkeling with sea turtles was absolutely amazing!! The color of the ocean was unbelievably beautiful—it really moved me—and I was so excited to actually swim with the sea turtles!!! The shower facilities were clean and comfortable, too—you should definitely go!!!

I was thrilled to see a sea turtle as soon as I entered the water. The guide provided great support, so even if you're not a strong swimmer, you can enjoy yourself with peace of mind. The fact that the facilities—like changing rooms and showers—are well-equipped is a big plus. I'd definitely like to use this service again the next time I visit Amami.

If you want to see sea turtles, I definitely recommend this tour! As soon as we got in the water, they spotted a sea turtle, and we were able to swim right alongside it♪ After the tour, the shower rooms and changing rooms are clean and well-maintained, so even women can feel comfortable and join in with ease☆ Be sure to enjoy the beautiful seas of Amami to the fullest!

After taking a snorkeling lesson and getting into the water to follow the instructor, I saw a sea turtle just a few minutes later! It was so cute watching the sea turtle munching on seaweed. I also heard the sound of the coral breathing (a popping sound), got chased by a blue-striped angelfish, and observed clownfish, butterflyfish, damselfish, blue-striped damselfish, and many other species of fish. I participated with my 7-year-old daughter, and she was absolutely thrilled to see the fish she’d only ever seen at aquariums or in picture books in person.

Just as advertised—with a high chance of encountering sea turtles—I spotted one as soon as I entered the water. The facility is very convenient, with shower rooms and changing rooms provided. If I had to mention one thing, the hair dryer’s airflow was a bit weak, so it might take a little longer for people with long hair. Other than that, it was a wonderful tour.

Next, our guide led us to a slightly deeper area, where we saw sea turtles swimming gracefully—it was truly moving. First, we were shown how to use the equipment on the beach, then we slowly made our way into the water. As we swam a little, marveling at the clarity of the seawater, we encountered a sea turtle right away, just as we’d been told. After that, we were able to enjoy snorkeling at our own pace while admiring the colorful fish. The facilities, including changing rooms and showers, were well-maintained, so we had a comfortable time right up until the end.

Just as I’d hoped—“I want to see sea turtles!”—it came true!! The staff provided detailed explanations and kept checking in with us, asking, “Are you okay?” so even the kids who were going in the ocean for the first time were able to enjoy themselves without any worries. The fact that there are warm showers available is a big plus. Underwater camera rentals are free, but you’ll need your own SD card, so I recommend bringing one if you plan to take photos. You can also buy them on-site.

The friendly staff kept a close eye on us the whole time, so we had a great time snorkeling. We even got to see sea turtles and fish—it was a truly wonderful experience. If I had to nitpick, I think it would have been even better if there had been some explanations about the coral and fish.

I was so moved to see sea turtles in the crystal-clear water! The changing rooms were clean, too, so I’d definitely recommend this place to women as well♪ Just be sure to slather on plenty of sunscreen—the sun was pretty strong during the boat ride!

Seriously, the sea turtle was way too close lol. I was just swimming along when a turtle swam right in front of me—I got so hyped! The guide was really fun to be around, and it was an absolute blast! Being able to use the clean showers and changing rooms right after getting out of the water was just amazing.

We used this place on a trip with my boyfriend, and it made for the best memories ever. Swimming together in the beautiful ocean off Amami Oshima and swimming alongside sea turtles was pure bliss♪ The sea turtles came right up close to us, and my boyfriend was all smiles the whole time. The changing rooms and showers were well-maintained, so we were able to head out for sightseeing right afterward—it was a date we were both completely satisfied with.

Just as rumored, we had a high chance of encountering sea turtles and were able to fully enjoy the beautiful waters of Amami. It was also very convenient that shower facilities were provided. If I had to nitpick, adjusting the size of the fins we rented was a bit tricky, so I’ll give it 4 stars.

It had been a while since I’d gone snorkeling, so I was worried about whether I’d be able to swim properly, but thanks to their attentive guidance, I got the hang of it right away. I can't swim, but I wanted to swim with sea turtles, and they made such a dream come true!　Thanks to the careful lectures at the office and on the beach, I did not panic and was able to handle any water that came in by myself. I was very happy to see beautiful blue and yellow fish as well as sea turtles. The shower was warm, and we were able to borrow a hair dryer and dehydrator.　I would like to come back to Amami again soon! I had a great time! Thank you very much.

First, I checked in at the shop and received a thorough snorkeling briefing. Next, I boarded the boat and set off for the blue waters of Amami Oshima, which stretched as far as the eye could see. When we arrived at the spot and entered the water, I was greeted by a vibrant coral reef, and after swimming for a while, I was able to encounter the sea turtle I’d been hoping to see. Finally, I was able to freshen up in the showers and change in the locker room before heading home—it was a thoroughly satisfying experience from start to finish.

I wasn’t very confident in my swimming ability, and before we left, I was constantly worried about whether I’d be able to keep up with the snorkeling in the deep ocean where I couldn’t touch the bottom. But thanks to the guide’s attentive support, even a beginner like me was able to manage just fine. They provided flotation devices, so I was able to relax and explore the underwater world. First, we got ready in the changing room and received a thorough briefing on snorkeling. Next, we boarded a boat and set out onto the beautiful waters off Amami Oshima, where we leisurely took in the blue world stretching as far as the eye could see. Even though I was traveling alone, I was able to enjoy myself without any reservations. The guide was very friendly and chatted with me, so I never felt lonely and was able to fully immerse myself in the beautiful ocean of Amami Oshima. When traveling alone, getting ready for snorkeling can sometimes feel like a hassle, but the facility was fully equipped with shower rooms and changing rooms, making it very comfortable. Four of us participated in the tour, including two elementary school students and an elderly person. It was our first time snorkeling, but we enjoyed it very much because we were carefully taught in turn. We saw 5 or 6 sea turtles and many kinds of fish, which were cute and beautiful. Underwater cameras are available for rent and SD cards can be bought or brought. However, we could not dive because we had to wear life jackets, and it was a pity that we could not get two shots of a sea turtle and a child. There was no underwater photography by the guide. I would definitely participate again.

It was my first time snorkeling, but thanks to Hayami's kind and easy-to-understand guiding, I was able to enjoy it to the fullest! I met three sea turtles in the ocean and was impressed to see colorful and beautiful fish up close. Beginners can also feel at ease! It was my first time snorkeling, but the guide was very supportive and made me feel at ease. It was truly a wonderful experience to see so many fish and sea turtles in the ocean.

I joined this tour because I wanted to get away from the stress of work. The beautiful ocean and colorful fish refreshed my body and mind. It was also nice to be able to use the showers and changing rooms after snorkeling.

Could be perfect for a family vacation! We took our family with our young children. The guide was very kind to the kids and made them feel safe and comfortable snorkeling. We were able to see sea turtles up close and personal, and the kids loved it.

Great installations✨The clarity of the ocean was outstanding and swimming with the colorful fish was just like a dream. The guide was very kind and made me feel at ease even though it was my first time. I was very satisfied with the many insta-worthy photos I was able to take!

My friends and I participated in our first snorkeling! We were really impressed to see sea turtles! We were able to rent an underwater camera for free so we could take lots of pictures and upload them to social media.
