What is Setouchi Underwater Park?

Setouchi Kainaka Park is located in Koninya, the second largest city on Amami Oshima.
It takes about 120 minutes by car from Amami Airport, and there is a ferry terminal nearby, so it is a good idea to stop by on your way to the archipelago.
The so-called rias coastline, with Kakaroma Island looming in front of you, offers a spectacular view.
A 15-minute cruise on the underwater cruise ship Seto will take you to the Underwater Park.
Oshima Strait is located almost in the middle of the Amami Archipelago and offers one of the most beautiful undersea sights in the world.
