奄美市歴史民俗資料館とは

奄美市歴史民俗資料館は、奄美空港からも比較的近い資料館です。奄美空港から車で１０分、名瀬からは車で６０分くらいのところに位置しています。この奄美市歴史民俗資料館は、奄美大島の自然や生物、生活について知ることが出来ます。入館料は大人２００円、高校生・大学生１００円、小学生５０円となっています。開館時間は９時から１７時で、入館は閉館時間の３０分前までになります。休館日は月曜日、祝祭日の翌日、年末年始となっています。この奄美市歴史民俗資料館では、奄美ならではの貴重な生物、アマミノクロウサギやハブなどの剥製を展示してあり触れることも出来ます。また奄美の人々が使っている道具や伝統的な道具も展示してあり、奄美について学べる施設になっています。展示物も多く大人から子供まで分かりやすく見学できる、見どころも多い資料館です。
