油井岳展望台とは

奄美十景の1つに選ばれている大島海峡の景色は、ここ油井岳展望台から眺めることができ、絶好の眺望ポイントで大パノラマを楽しめます。奄美大島の南部、瀬戸内町の油井岳の中腹にあり、古仁屋の町から車で30分ほどカーブのきつい山道を走ると、駐車場があり、その横に白くしっかりした展望台があります。晴天の油井岳展望台は、真っ青な空と海と雲の調和は素晴らしく、自然の素晴らしさを魅せてくれますが、海峡が赤く染まる夕暮れ時は、息を呑むほどに美しく幻想的で、別の姿を楽しませてくれます。古仁屋の街と大島海峡の雰囲気が良く分かり、奄美大島らしい景色が広がります。駐車場から展望台までは近く、徒歩ですぐなので立ち寄りたいポイントです。
