I took part in the sunset canoe tour on the day I arrived in Amami. The view of the setting sun reflecting off the surface of the mangrove-lined river was absolutely beautiful, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing time. However, I was a little bothered by the bugs at dusk, so it would have been even better if there had been some information about insect repellent.
