This tour allowed me to discover many hidden charms of Amami Oshima. Particularly memorable were the mysterious atmosphere of the Materiya Falls and the 360-degree panoramic view from the Ywan-dake Observation Deck. It was an experience that overwhelmed me with the power and beauty of nature.

　Because it was raining on the day of the tour and the road on the way had been damaged by a landslide, the course was changed from Kuninao Beach and Fukugi Namiki to Amami Wildlife Conservation Center, Tokuhama Cliff, lunch at Uken Shokudo, Shigeno Yasusame's exile site, Terakoya site, Honohoshi Beach, underwater sightseeing boat Seto, and the largest Saximasuo tree in Amami with a huge itane (a Japanese name for the Japanese alder), The guide was a former school teacher. 　Our guide, a former school teacher whose main job now is patrolling and studying rare plants and animals, gave us detailed explanations, which were very informative. 　He was very informative and explained everything he found while we were driving, and the scenery along the way was spectacular (especially the cliffs of Tokuhama were overwhelming). 　Thank you so much for your help. 　Amami is wonderful!
