About Amami Cultural CenterCultural center located in Nagahama, Amami City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.It is a large white building and was opened in 1 987. Parking is free of charge and has a capacity of 120 cars.

The cultural center has a hall with seating on the first and second floors, with a capacity of 1,438 seats and the use of a mother and child room inside the building. There is an orchestra pit under the stage with 124 seats and 8 wheelchair spaces.

The Amami Cultural Center Conference Room is also used for a wide variety of activities, including concerts, plays, and in FY 2018, the Amami Cultural Center Conference Room hosted the "Town and Myself Iki Iki Volunteer Training Course" with lecturers to motivate prefectural residents to volunteer, and a debriefing session for junior high school students on international exchange to report their results and experiences to the mayor of Amami. The facility is also used for a variety of other purposes.
