マネン崎 展望所とは

奄美大島の特徴と言えば何と言っても碧い海ですが、それを肌で感じられるのが「マネン崎展望所」です。マネン崎展望所は奄美大島の南部の瀬戸内町の古仁屋からホノホシ海岸方面へ向かう道沿いにあります。

マネン崎展望所は奄美大島最南端にある絶景のスポットであり、その展望所から見える海の透明度には驚かされます。その透き通るような青色のグラデーションの海を見ているだけで、日頃のストレスが消えていきます。

展望所から少し下ったところにある嘉鉄湾(かてつわん)は、海の水のきれいさからダイビングスポットになっています。また、嘉鉄湾は世界でも奄美本島でしか見られない「アマミホシゾラフグ」を見られる場所です。

展望所からは対岸にある加計呂麻島や、水面を走るヨットやクルーザーの白い姿を見ることもできます。なお、展望台の入口には周辺の風景見所マップの案内板が立てられています。
