高知山の風景

高知山とは

高知山とは、奄美大島の南部に所属し、標高、415ｍの山で瀬戸内町にあります。高知山へのアクセスとしては車がないと行くことが出来ず, ,また、車では古仁屋の街から15分ほど山道を上って行くと駐車場がありそこからは車で行くことができず、両サイドを緑に囲まれた遊歩道の山道を登っていきます。

その遊歩道の周囲の風景は、山の精霊が出てきそうな、幻想的な雰囲気があり、丸太で、できた階段は、歴史感が漂っています。森を散策しながら5~6分ほど歩くと、高知山展望台に到着します。

高知山は、展望場所になっており、そこからの眺めは、奄美海峡を一望できため息が出るほど雄大な景色に時のたつのも忘れてしまいますね。時間帯が夕方であれば、夕焼けが海に染まりその美しさに目を奪われることでしょう。
