実久海岸とは

実久ブルーと呼ばれる美しい海の色が評判の実久海岸ですが、天候によって様々な一面を見せるのが魅力的でしょう。
青、蒼、紺碧などさまざまな色の輝きを見せてくれます。

加計呂麻島にある実久は、伊豆七島～奄美群島～琉球諸島に渡って広く伝承が残される『源為朝』伝説の残る場所であり、為朝の長男実久三次郎のゆかりのある場所でもあります。近年ではNHKの土曜ドラマで仲間由紀恵さん主演の「島の先生」のロケ地になった海岸としても有名な場所です。

奄美大島は遠浅の海岸の場所が多いのですが、この実久海岸も遠浅の海で泳げない方でも充分に海を堪能できるのが魅力の一つだと言えます。
