用海岸の風景

用海岸とは

奄美空港に到着してすぐに行けるビーチの一つが用海岸だと言えるでしょう。笠利崎から用集落のあるまでの海岸を一般的には用海岸といいます。
港でレンタカーを借りれば目と鼻の先といえ、10分程度で笠利灯台をすぎて道なりに進めば美しいエメラルドグリーンの海と砂浜を見ることができるでしょう。

笠利灯台から笠利崎にかけては岩場が多いのですが、ビュースポットとしては極めて優秀です。
逆に用集落に近づけば近づく程に砂浜の比率が増え、観光にこられる方の思い描くビーチに近いのはこのあたりになると思われます。

奄美大島といえばガジュマルを想像される方も多いのですが、用海岸はアダンがひじょうに多く見られます。
アダンの木の近くに立ち寄って、実がなっているとひじょうに完熟したようなパイナップルを思わせる果実臭がしますが、ほとんどが繊維質ですので食べれないです。
ビーチとアダンのある風景の美しさを堪能するのに専念がオススメIt is.
