What is Yoan Coast?

Yoan Beach is located in Kasari-cho, Amami-shi, Kagoshima Prefecture, and access is about 15 minutes south of the airport on Route 82.

The beach is home to resort facilities such as Bashasanmura and Yayora Sea Studio, a spot where sea turtles can be seen during snorkeling tours, and marine sports can be enjoyed.

Restaurants and accommodations are available, and the resort atmosphere is appealing.

The long stretch of sandy beach has coral reefs peeking out from the shore at low tide, and tropical saltwater fish are lovely. The sunset is not at the ocean, but at the back of the mountain side, which makes for a picturesque scene.
