By bus, take the bus bound for Nase from Amami Airport and get off at Toguchi Iriguchi, the nearest bus stop, then walk for 6 minutes. The brewery is open for tours by appointment only, from 10:00 to 16:00. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.

The tour is free of charge and takes about 60 minutes. Visitors can sample and purchase brown sugar shochu, which is popular among those who like to drink.Amami Machida Shuzo's brown sugar shochu has zero sugar content and is made from brown sugar made from natural sugarcaneThe company is doing so.
