    A NAVI search of the phone number showed a location far from the airport, but we found it along the national highway and arrived safely. We enjoyed working with a female designer who came all the way from Canada just for the dyeing experience.     The tour was guided, so we could participate safely even at night. I had hoped to see the Great Horned Owl, but I was able to see it several times without incident, and I was also able to see a Ryukyu long-eared owl. We were also able to hear the hoots of the Hooded Owl and the Himalayan Hare. It was a very enjoyable time and I am glad I joined the tour, as I was excited not knowing what I would see. It was also nice that they lent us flashlights.

    We booked this trip because we wanted to see whales in the wild. The children we found were swimming fast, and the captain did his best to speed up and maneuver us to catch up with them. Thanks to his efforts, we were able to see the breaching up close, which we had longed for. We were told beforehand that the encounter rate was high, but we were not sure if we would be able to see the breaching, so we may have been lucky. It was a pity that I could not take the best shot because it was quite bumpy and one hand was caught by the boat and it was difficult to press the shutter of the phone with only the other hand. But it was wonderful when the guide showed us the pictures he took underwater. If I could see them that close, I would like to swim with them next time, even though it looks so cold.

    This was my first sea turtle snorkeling experience. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but I was very happy to see two sea turtles! They were so cute that I became a fan of sea turtles and Amami more and more. The guide was kind, friendly, a little bit natural and nice. He explained to us about the species of green turtles, how to distinguish their sex, and the ecology of fish, which was very informative. It was a very enjoyable activity with lots of memorable photos. Next time I will visit during the warmer season.

    I participated with my mother. It was very bumpy, but it was like an attraction and very fun. I was very impressed that we could see the whale so clearly. I am sorry that my mother got seasick.
