    It was the last day of my stay in Amami. We decided to take a one-day private tour by car as something we could do while wearing airplane clothes. The guide who said, "I was going to come by jeep, but it looked like it was going to rain, so I decided not to," was the same person who had taken care of us on the night tour the night before. He was a bit reckless in responding to our requests: "I didn't go to the south, so I want to go to the south," and "I wanted to see the view from the top since I had experienced so much from the sea and the river." He knew everything about Amami, including biology, geography, and history, and if you asked him about it, he would give you an answer, making it a "learning tour" that combined experience and knowledge. I would like to use this tour again the next time I go back! Thank you, Mr. Kubo.

    Whale watching in Amami in winter was a great experience! The boat was very comfortable, with toilets and hot showers, even in the cold winter. We especially enjoyed it with our 0 year old child, who was very comfortable because of the facilities. The moment the whales appeared on the surface was breathtaking and the whole family was very excited! It was an unforgettable experience to feel the power of humpback whales up close. We were very satisfied with the 901 TP3T encounter rate, as we were almost certain to see whales. Since this is a half-day tour, it is easy to make a schedule and perfect for families!

    We were impressed by the powerful whale jump! The boat was comfortable, and the restrooms were a nice touch for those with children. The half-day tour was fun enough, and the guide's explanations were easy to understand. If you come to Amami in winter, I definitely recommend this tour!
