I have loved nature since I was a child and have always been especially interested in mangrove forests. I was very impressed to participate in this tour of Amami Oshima and to hear about the ecology of living creatures and environmental protection. I was also glad that we were able to take a lot of pictures and leave our memories as a form. The tour is designed so that even beginners can enjoy it safely, and it is a place I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Now that I had finished raising my children, I finally had some time to myself and decided to "do something for myself next," so I signed up for this tour. Even though I am not that familiar with the outdoors, my fears quickly disappeared as the guide carefully explained everything from start to finish so that I could participate in the tour with ease. As we actually kayaked through the mangroves, I felt as if I had wandered into another world. Forgetting the hustle and bustle of the city and becoming one with nature while swaying on the quiet surface of the water was a healing experience that penetrated deep into my heart. During the tour, rare wild birds and other small creatures were explained to us, and it was like a petit nature class, which was very educational. What made me most happy was the guide's talk full of love for the local area and his hospitality. It not only made us feel safe, but also increased the attractiveness of the tour itself many times over. The fact that we were able to take a lot of pictures and leave behind memories from angles that I would not have been able to take by myself was also a major point. This tour was really perfect for those who want to enjoy nature at their own pace. I would definitely invite my friends to join the tour again next time.

I was really happy to have hired this guide. ‼︎2 I was worried that I wouldn't be able to go for a couple of hours, but it didn't take long at all. I was worried about whether we would be able to go for 2 hours, but it didn't take long at all. He stayed with us the whole time so we could go to places we couldn't go without him, and most importantly, we were too happy just rocking in the canoe and watching the clouds flow. ‼︎ He also took pictures so we could leave a good memory of our girls trip. I will definitely ask for this guide the next time I go to Amami! I will definitely ask this guide again the next time I go to Amami! Thank you very much for responding to our passionate wishes even though a typhoon was approaching.

We were three ladies in our 60's. It was our first time to canoe. It was almost our first time to canoe, and we really enjoyed it when we were able to paddle swiftly through the mangrove river! We were also very impressed with the snorkeling because we didn't expect to see sea turtles so close up! Thank you very much.

Thank you Amanico Guide Service for responding to our many questions. It was very helpful. The guide, it was my first time to canoe in the mangrove, but I was able to enjoy it as much as I wanted because of the lecture and support before entering the canoe. I learned about the history of Amami Oshima and learned about the amazing mangroves. It was a great experience for me to feel the power of nature that I could not believe it was in Japan. Thank you very much for the enjoyable and healing tour.

The tour was cancelled due to a typhoon, so I asked the tour guide to pick me up from my hotel, which was far away. He also told me about the origin of the towns along the way, which helped me to get to know Amami better. She also took us to places that we had not requested, and I thought she was very kind. I highly recommend this tour to those who do not have a car and who want to know more about Amami! Thank you very much.
