奄美空港から奄美大島中部への移動手段は、レンタカー・タクシー・バスの3つがあります。
奄美大島中部へのアクセスで最も便利なのはレンタカーです。空港から中心部・大自然の残るスポットまで自由に移動できます。
奄美大島中南部のマングローブ林など、GPSが反応しないエリアもあるので運転に気をつけましょう。
空港や港などには待機車があり、名瀬は奄美大島の中心地なのでタクシーは比較的つかまりやすいです。
繁華街から離れた場所にアクセスしたい場合はタクシー会社に連絡しておきましょう。
Although there are only a few services, it covers the entire Amami Oshima Island and is the only public transportation system on Amami Oshima. There are also tickets for unlimited rides on local buses.
An airport shuttle bus runs from Amami Airport.
奄美大島中部に位置する名瀬は奄美大島一の繁華街であり、中心部です。

The feeling of the jeep running through the forest in pursuit of the black-crowned night heron was so extraordinary that I was thrilled the whole time. There were considerations that even beginners could participate safely, and I was able to enjoy the tour by myself!
The sound of tiny insects underfoot, birds singing in the distance... I hadn't listened so closely in a long time. The sense of oneness with nature was pleasant, and I felt refreshed by the end of the day.
The scale of the wilderness is so great that it made my son say, "There's going to be dinosaurs!" and the scale of the wilderness was amazing. The tour was short but fulfilling, and the transportation was easy and helpful. The guide was also very knowledgeable.
It's just a walk in the woods, right? If you thought it was just a walk in the forest, you were mistaken. As I walked through the primeval forest with its ancient atmosphere, listening to the guide's stories, I was overwhelmed by the depth of nature.
I liked that the local guide gave us a thorough tour with explanations, rather than just "sightseeing a few places and that's it. Since it was a private tour, I could go around at my own pace and take lots of pictures.
The view around the falls is so green that you can't see the sky when you look up, and the stress of city life seems to have flowed away all at once. The combination with canoeing is just perfect and recommended for those who want to be healed.
