    I joined this tour with my 5 year old son to experience the great outdoors. We were very happy to see ferns that we had never seen before, a nanafushi even in winter, and an insect that may have served as a model for the character Kamaji in "Spirited Away. My son was so happy to see mushrooms that he had only seen in books that he wanted to come back again in a different season. The guide was kind and knowledgeable, and his explanation of the plants was fascinating. Thank you very much.

    I was traveling alone in the off-season, so I desperately searched for a tour I could join and found Slow Guide Amami. The guide was very attentive, the conversation was fun, the atmosphere was great, and I was happy to have my photos and videos taken. (I was really grateful to Slow Guide Amami because I had been having trouble with other tour companies that suddenly cancelled the tour without any notice even though my application had been completed, etc.) The next day, we were really grateful for your help with the mangrove canoe tour. It was a precious and wonderful experience to be able to luxuriate in the vast mangroves during the first morning when there were no people around! It was a precious and wonderful experience!
